From the start, each and every day mattered as the future of the company depended on it. Today we have a staff of two hundred and fifty, an entire fleet of delivery vehicles, and 3500 customers, but we still put special emphasis on all the details of our everyday operations. In this way, we make sure our commitments and investments aren’t just for today, but will hold for the future.

Meet Our Management Team
Scott became hooked on the business as soon as he began working summers in the warehouse in middle school. His first job was to sweep the warehouse floors once the trucks had left. He came on full time in 1980, after graduating from The University of Alabama. He enjoys the competitive spirit of the industry, the variety of customers that we serve and the camaraderie within the company. He is an avid fan of the Crimson Tide.
Executive Vice President
Since joining Ajax Turner in 1987, Todd has held various positions inside the company. In his current role as the Executive Vice President, his responsibilities include: accounting, human resources, information systems, operations, facility, fleet and safety.Todd is a Graduate of Austin Peay State University with a degree in Business Administration.
Vice President of Sales
Mike joined the team in 2015 after 28 years with Anheuser-Busch. He held many positions, including Director of Sales and Marketing in Louisville, KY, Senior Director of Oklahoma, and State Sales Director covering the states of Indiana, Kentucky, and West Virginia. Mike played baseball at Bellarmine College and graduated with a degree in Business Administration.
VP of National Accounts
Jon Keene joined Ajax Turner in 2001 after being with Budweiser of Chattanooga for 20 years. He has extensive experience in all areas of the wholesale beer industry. Jon was an educator and coach for ten years after graduating from Michigan State University, where he played baseball and lacrosse. He enjoys applying his coaching experience in the competitive sales arena.
Vice President of Operations
T.R. Rains is a retired Naval Officer who flew F-18’s for 33 years before joining Ajax Turner in 2007. As Vice President of Operations, he is responsible for the safety program, security, the fleet, facilities, inventory and warehouse operations. CAPT Rains held numerous leadership positions in the Navy including Commodore of the West Coast FA-18 Wing and Chief of Staff at the United States Naval Academy.
Off Premise Sales Manager
Donnie came on board with Ajax Turner in 1988 after a six year career with one of our largest off premise chain accounts. Donnie served in many different capacities before being named Off Premise Sales Manager in 1998.
On Premise Sales Manager
Jeff joined the company as a route salesman in 1997 after gaining experience with another local distributor. He has since worked in many different areas of the business in both on and off premise. He became the on premise manager in November of 2011.
Director of Craft & Import Brands
Kyle joined the team in 2003 and has held various positions throughout the company. His passion for craft beer lead him to be our Director of Craft and Import Brands where he continues to expand our palates as well as our portfolio. Kyle holds a BA in Management and Human Relations from Trevecca Nazarene University.
Wine Sales Director
Ainsley joined Ajax Turner in late 2015, after working as a North American Export Manager for several artisan Italian wineries. Prior to that, she spent several months in Ancona, Italy, working in the vineyards and cellars of Azienda Agricola Moroder for the 2011 harvest. Ainsley graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Political Science.
Director of Non-Alcoholic Beverages
Jeremy Bennett joined Ajax Turner in 2005 after serving in the U.S. Army for seven years. Jeremy has since worked on both the sales and service side of the business, most recently as an off premise area sales manager. Jeremy became the NA beverage manager in 2016.
Director of Marketing
As director of marketing, Megan manages all marketing initiatives, event sponsorships, public relations, media placements, charitable gifts and alcohol education programs. Megan joined the company in 2011. She recieved her BS in Advertising and Public Relations from The University of Alabama.
Director of Human Resources
Eric Gibbons, SPHR began work with Ajax Turner Company in 1999. Eric currently serves as the Human Resources Director. He is a graduate of the Tennessee Tech University College of Business and attained his Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification in 2007. Eric has been privileged to serve as an Advisory Board Member for the Anheuser-Busch University training program for four years.
Vice President of Finance
Ed has spent the majority of his professional career working in the areas of financial reporting and operations analysis. He has been a part of several teams that have implemented MIS integrated software systems for distribution companies. Ed joined Ajax Turner in 2011. He received his MBA from Belmont University in 2005.
From our centrally located headquarters in the Nashville suburb of La Vergne, right off the I-24, we provide full-service beverage distribution to the Nashville metropolitan area and surrounding counties. Our fleet is one of the most reliable in the business, with an average of just one breakdown every three weeks. Even if a truck gets sidelined, we have a host of reserve vehicles ready to go, ensuring that our drivers are back on the road within 30 minutes.
